Meet Our Team
We are a group of fully qualified counsellors and psychotherapists who have many years’ experience of working in private practice, organisations, employee assistance programmes, hospitals, schools, colleges and universities and for the NHS in GP surgeries.

Our counsellors work with a variety of approaches.

Our counsellors can work both remotely and face-to-face with our clients.

Kate Macklin
I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor, and it is important to me that I offer a safe space for you to feel listened to, heard and accepted. A place where you can discover that you don’t need to be alone with what you are experiencing.

Sometimes being able to share your thoughts and feelings is the first step to unravelling the feeling of being ‘stuck’. Whether you feel depressed, anxious, off-balance, or not able to pinpoint how you feel but know something feels wrong, we can explore your world together.
I am BACP accredited and offer short-term and long-term counselling depending on your needs. My pronouns are she/her and I offer an LGBTQ+ safe space.

I’m happy to have a free chat before we start our sessions so I can answer any questions you have and you can then decide whether we are a good fit to work together, as I feel it is important to find a therapist who you can feel comfortable with.

Naomi Piner
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I can help if you are looking for friendly, professional support to help you through difficult times.

I am a qualified, experienced counsellor. I work with a range of difficulties including anxiety, stress, depression, bereavement and helping cope with disability or chronic illness like cancer, long covid, post-viral fatigue, asthma, diabetes, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome/ME. I give you time and space to explore your situation, looking at what unconscious patterns influence your thinking, feeling and behaviour. Together we will explore; looking at what is working well for you and what you’d like to change.

A warm, friendly welcome waits for you if you choose to make the first step. I’m currently offering online and phone counselling. Your first session could take place within a few days of you contacting me. I offer a free 30 minute chat so please do get in touch.

Elle Pope
I am a qualified, experienced, trauma Counsellor, and understand the impact of trauma on the mind and body. We will work gently together to regain a sense of safety with support and guidance, safely learning and developing healthy coping strategies. I have worked in various environments engaging with diverse ages and backgrounds including the NHS, a community counselling hub, and with teens and young adults in a large secondary school.
Are you struggling with relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, depression, bereavement/loss, stress/anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, or wrestling with a particular issue, and needing a safe space to explore the challenges you are facing? Sharing thoughts and feelings with a counsellor takes courage. I can offer a welcoming, non-judgmental safe space, whatever your background, culture, or beliefs, and together we can explore, be curious and learn new skills to manage feelings. I work online and in Trowbridge Wiltshire.
